Hotel Description

Location. The Hotel Beau Rivage in Nice, France is only 50 meters away from the beachfront Promenade des Anglais, and the hotel's own private stretch of beach. Two blocks from the hotel is Massena Square, the Opera House and the Cours Saleya flower market. Less than one kilometer away is the Massena Museum and the old port of Vieux Port de Nice. Nice International Airport is approximately 12 kilometers from the hotel.

Hotel Features. Set in a 19th century townhouse, the Hotel Beau Rivage was renovated and redesigned in 2004 by French architect Jean- Michel Wilmotte. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby.

The Les Galets restaurant serves hot and cold breakfast buffets daily. La Plage is the outdoor beach restaurant that is open from April to October. Light lunches, dinners, cocktails and wine are served in Le Bar. The hotel's private pebbled beach is open from April to October and offers umbrellas, sun loungers and towels. Fees apply for beach access. Three meeting rooms are available and wireless Internet access is available in the lobby and public areas of the hotel.

Guestrooms. The 118 guestrooms at the Hotel Beau Rivage are decorated with dark furniture and feature black-and-white photographs. Desks and upholstered chairs provide work space in the rooms. Expert Tip. Place Massena, 2 blocks from the hotel, is surrounded by the Albert I and Massena gardens. The imposing red-colored buildings bordering the square assert an even greater presence. During the Carnival, the King's float takes pride of place in this very spot.
